Data Deletion Instructions
Syntra Solutions, operated by JOST Soluciones IT, is committed to honoring requests to delete personal data we process. This page explains how to request deletion, depending on whether you are a Business User (account holder) or an End User whose messages were handled by a business that uses Syntra.
Data Deletion Request. We respond within 30 days.
1. For Business Users (Syntra account holders)
Option A — Self-service from the dashboard
- Log in at app.syntra.com.ar.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Click Delete account and confirm.
- All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Option B — By email
Send an email to contacto@jost.ar with:
- Subject:
Data Deletion Request - The email address associated with your Syntra account
- Optional: reason for deletion (helps us improve)
2. For End Users (users of a business that uses Syntra)
If you messaged a business through WhatsApp, Instagram, or Messenger, and that business uses Syntra to manage the conversation, you can request deletion of your data in two ways:
Option A — Ask the business directly
Contact the business you messaged and ask them to delete your conversation. The business has direct control over their Syntra inbox and can remove records on your behalf.
Option B — Contact Syntra directly
Send an email to contacto@jost.ar with:
- Subject:
End User Data Deletion Request - The channel through which you were contacted (WhatsApp / Instagram / Messenger).
- Your identifier on that channel: phone number (WhatsApp), Instagram username, or Facebook name.
- Approximate name or handle of the business you messaged (helps us locate your records faster).
We will locate all records matching your identifier across every business using Syntra and delete them within 30 days. We will confirm completion by email.
3. What we delete
- Account data (email, name, password hash) — for Business Users.
- Business configuration (knowledge base, products, FAQs, agent settings).
- Conversation history (messages sent and received).
- Contact records and customer metrics.
- Integration tokens (WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, MercadoLibre, Tiendanube).
- Page-scoped IDs (PSID) and Instagram-scoped IDs (IGSID) associated with your identity.
4. What we may retain (and why)
- Billing records (invoices, tax IDs) — retained per legal and tax obligations in Argentina (up to 10 years).
- Security logs (IP addresses, login timestamps) — retained up to 12 months for abuse prevention.
- Anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot be linked back to you.
5. Revoking access from Meta
If you want to stop Syntra from accessing a Facebook Page or Instagram Business account:
- Go to facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools.
- Find JOST in the list and click Remove.
- This revokes our access tokens immediately. Please also email us at contacto@jost.ar so we can delete any data already received.
6. Processing timeline
- Acknowledgment: within 3 business days.
- Completion: within 30 days of receiving a valid request.
- If we need additional information to verify your identity, we'll contact you promptly.
